October 2nd marked the 25th anniversary of the Calgary Chapter.  We celebrated with a spectacular soiree fundraiser for St. Andrew’s College.  Ninety-five guests were entertained with a Hopak by Barvinok Ukrainian Dance, popular songs performed by Annie and Elena Chrapko, as well as traditional Ukrainian melodies sung by Anna Lupeko and Dariia Strantseva, recent arrivals.  The Rev. Fr. Dr. Timothy Chrapko.  Six original members were presented with awards for having achieved twenty-five years’ service with our Chapter.  Door prizes were drawn.  A silent auction raised over $2,300 and, in total, net proceeds for the College totaled $12,000.

The Order of St. Andrew organized its 2^nd annual  "Welcome Back Barbecue" to mark the beginning of the new Church year.

8 вересня Орден Cвятого Андрія (Відділення м. Калгарі) організував для нас усіх свято "Ласкаво просимо. Барбекю" з нагоди початку нового Церковного року. Ми щиро дякуємо усім, хто долучився до організації та проведення цього заходу і зробив цей день особливим.  Також було дуже приємно відзначити день народження от. Василя і привітати його родину, яка недавно прибула до Калгарі з України.  Ми були раді бачити всіх вас і запрошуємо приєднатися до наших майбутніх подій!

Flags, posters, temporary tattoos, stickers,  lapel pins, balloons and cake helped the Order bring  Canada Day  celebrations to the parish.
